Happy October 6th!

This is way too easy today:

1. THE CURE ARE GOING ON TOUR NEXT YEAR!  Okay, now that I’ve calmed down and listened to several live, 12-minute versions of “A Forest,” I can go celebrate the 20th anniversary of seeing them for the very first time back in 1996.  At the time, I had no friends.  So, my parents trucked me the two hours to the Rosemont Horizon, dropped me off, crashed a wedding at a nearby hotel, then heard on the radio when the show ended.  They went back to the parking lot and miraculously found me.  This also will be the sixth time I’ve seen Robert Smith and Co.

2. I ran close to eight miles last night and had the forethought this time to stretch quite rigorously before bed.  I am very thankful I did that because I can walk and am not hobbled by leg cramps today.
